AT EARLY HOUR IN MORNING 8 Elephant Pushing Wagon in Parade, Three special trains will arrive in Ogden early tomorrow morning over the Oregon Short Line, coming from Logan. Aboard will be the equipment and paraphernalia of tho John Robinson Robin-son circus, the oldest circus in the world, scheduled for two performances perform-ances tomorrow. The show grounds will be at Washington avenue and Twenty-seventh street. The circus specials will arrive about thirty minutes apart, according to in formation given out by the railroad officials. Agents who have been in the city the past week have made final arrangements. ar-rangements. As quickly as the specials spec-ials arrivo they will bo parked in tho railroad yards and the work of unload Ing begin. There promises to be no haults or perplexing delays. The first wagon to be unloaded will bo that containing tho enormous kitchen kitch-en ranges, consisting of sixteen feet of cooking space and upon it is prepared tho meals for all the circus followers. It requires fifteen separate tents to house the John Robinson Ton Big snows. Tnere are the cook tents-two of them the stables, library, barber, carpenter, blacksmith, harness wardrobe ward-robe side show, menageries, big show and many others. Tho arena tents is one of the largest ever constructed. The first event on the program tomorrow to-morrow will bo the street parade which will leave the show grounds at 1 o'clock and pass through the principal prin-cipal downtown streets. There will be "upwards of 60 cages and dons containing con-taining wild beasts and nearly as many gilded tableau wagons and floats. Six bands will disperse circus harmony. Tho doors to the big show will be opened at 1 o'clock. One hour will be alloted to tho students of naturo to inspect tho Robinson zoological paradise, and preceding the main show by thirty minutes a grand concert will be given by Prof. Tinney's band of 25 soloists. A downtown ticket office Is maintained main-tained at the Mclntyre Drug Store, where tickets may be procured for both performances at the same price as charged on the show grounds. |
