The accident occurred at 8: -15 a'clock, about 100 yards south of the main entrance to the union passenger station. sta-tion. He had been loading some baggage bag-gage onfo a train which was being put in readiness to depart ifrom the station and, It is presumed, stepped around the end of the last car and walked in front of train No. 21, which was pulling into the station from Salt Lake City on track No. 3. There was only two eyewitnesses to tho accident, as far as could be learned today, one a passenger on . i No. 21 and the other, Engineer Ben-' nett, of the same train.
