Show CHAMPION HOPPE TO MEET JAP Will Open 18.2 Handicap Billiard Tournament Leading Professionals Take Part. New York, Nov. 15. A match between be-tween Willie Hoppc, the champion, and Koji Yamada, will open an 18.2 handicap billiard tournament here tonight. to-night. Most of the leading professional profes-sional billiard players of the country will take part and the games will be played dally until the final on tho night of Tuesday, November 23. IToppe with a handicap of 500 occupies oc-cupies the scratch position, while George Sutton receives a handicap of 400, George Slosson 375, Yamada 375, Joseph Mayer 375 and Welker Cohran 300. Slossan Is considered the dark horse of the tournament. After having been out of active, competition for some timo, ho has rega acd his old-time old-time mastery of the 'cue. Slosson will play Sutton tomorrow night. WELSH TO MEET O'LEARY.
