Show ALLEGED THEFT OF QMTiTY OF GOAL Charles Miller was tried this morning morn-ing in the municipal court for the alleged al-leged theft of a quantity of coal from the Williams Coal yard, on Twenty-first Twenty-first street, and had his case taken under advisement. The defendant was arrested near the coal yard by Detective Grant Syphers. Thomas McGowan, James Murray and John Doe pleaded guilty to charges char-ges of drunkenness and, ou the strength of past conduct as known to the police, were each ordered to serve five days in jail.
