Show WEDDING RING IS SENT TfJ WIDOW Dying Request of Leo M. Frank Respected by the Mob. Atlanta, Ga., Aug. 19. Governor Harris today conferred with the state prison commission before taking further fur-ther action for investigation of the lynching of Leo. M. Frank. The governor gov-ernor expects to give out a statement later. O. B. Keeler, a newspaperman era-ployed era-ployed in Atlanta but residing in Marietta, Ma-rietta, in a published article today, says that Frank's wedding ring was delivered to him at his home last nlgbt by a man unknown to him. Keeler says a note in the envelope with the ring read: "Frank's dying request was that his wddding ring be given to his wife. Will you not see that this request Is carried out The note will be delivered de-livered to you by a man you do not know and who does not know you Make no effort to find out his identity. iden-tity. You are expected to destroy this after reading it." Keeler stated he would have the ring delivered to Mrs. Frank. oo |
