Show MANY MEETINGS OF THE STRIKERS Bridgeport, Conn., Aug. 31. Strike matters were quiet here today. During Dur-ing the day fifteen meetings of strikers strik-ers were held in downtown halls, at which reports of various conferences were made The general tenor of these reports was that present differences differ-ences in most of the factories wil1 be adjusted within a few days. The reported grievances of bayonet polishers at the Remington Arms & Ammunition company are- now the subject of conferences The opinion hold by labor men is that the alleged al-leged grievances can bo settled with put a btrike. |
