Show oo FUNERAL HELD IN CHEYENNE, WYO. Cheyenne, Wyo., Aug. 31. Funeral services for the late Mrs. John J. Pershing and three young daughters, who perished In a fire at the Presidio, San Francisco, last week, were to bo held here today, Bishop N. S. Thomas of Cheyenno preaching the sermon Commercial activity in all of the larger Wyoming towns was to cease during the services out of respect re-spect to the dead. The funeral party which arrived early today from Presidio included General John J Pershing, husband and father of the deaa; United States Senator Warren of Wyoming, father of Mrs. Pershing, and other members of the Warren family. The funeral procession from the train to the home of Senator Warren passed through long rows of citizens and representatives of fraternal societies, so-cieties, who stood with bared heads. At Lakevlew cemetery one grave has I been prepared to receive the four ' p bodies following the ceremonies at j1 JTJ 4 o'clock. ; V ' 2. oo ' s |
