Show Deaths and Funerals WANSGAARD The funeral of Edwin Ed-win Wangsgaard was held yesterday afternoon in the Huntsvlllo meeting house, with Bishop John Hall presiding. presid-ing. The speakers were Charles Cramer, Cra-mer, John Grow, J. E. Skldmore ol Salt Lake City and Apostle David O. McKay. C. Fred Sehade sang "The City in tho Sky" and "Will There Bo any Stars In My Crown?" Miss Moselle Mo-selle Renstrom sang Not, Half Has Ever Been Told" and Mrs. Llzzlo Lof-gren Lof-gren sang "Kind Words." The service was attended by a large number of friends and relatives of the deceased and many floral tributes were laid upon the bier. The interment was in the HuntBYille cemetery. HAZEN The body of Mrs. Mary Ilazen, who died at the family residence resi-dence in Torrlngton, Wyo., Monday, arrived in Ogden this morning and was taken to the Llndquist mortuary j. ending funeral arrangements. Mrs. Hazen was the widow of John Hazeu and until five years ago the family resided in Ogden. She was born In Nebraska, September 23, 1857. Tho following" children survive: Mrs. Charles Irwin, John Hazen, Edgar Hazen, Earl and Edgar Hazen of Ogden. Og-den. She Is also survived by the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters: Mrs. Harry Hess, Ogden; Mrs. Eva Lang-holf, Lang-holf, Merrill, vNeb. Leo Farroll ot Gilford, Mont., and Thomas Farrell, Fort Madison, Ia. CALDWELL Mrs. Mary Caldwell died at 5 a. m. today at the home of her son, Robert.M. Caldwell, 477 Chester street. Mrs. Caldwell had suffered of cancer of the mouth for a number of years. Mrs. Caldwell joined the Mormon church In Tennessee Tennes-see In 188G. The following children survive: William L. Caldwell of Tennessee, Ten-nessee, Robert M. of Ogden, James S. of Colorado, George F. of Boise, Martha Mar-tha J. Peters, Rachel F Thomas, Annie An-nie E. Denton of Colorado and R. Margaret Hansen of Ontario, Ore. Funeral Fu-neral services will be held Sunday in the Eighth ward at 2 p. m., Bishop Bish-op W W. Larson presiding. Interment Inter-ment North Ogden cemetery. Friends will be received at Larkln and Sons' chapel Saturday from 7 to 9 p. m, and Sunday from 10 a, m. to 1 p. m. Two months ago, Mrs. Caldwell, accompanied accompa-nied by her husband, Absolom Caldwell Cald-well went to Kansas City, where Mrs. Caldwell was placed in a hospital to be treated by a specialist. While she was under the physician's care, Mr. Caldwell became ill and died. Mrs. Caldwell returned shortly afterward to Ogden to reside with her son. |
