Show TRACING STAMPS ARE CONDEMNED The Utah Retail Merchants association associ-ation held a meeting last night at its rooms In the First National Bank building, for the purpose of selecting its legislative committee and discussing discuss-ing other business matters. The members chosen to form the legislative legisla-tive committee are J. w. Wilcox. J. S. Carver and C, Fred Schade. They will present the association's views on different measures that come before be-fore the state legislature at its present pres-ent session. Among other business matters, the question of trading stamps was taken up and the association went on record rec-ord as being opposed to them. A committee consisting of J. S Carver, W II. Harris and J. W. Wilcox was also appointed at the meeting, to meet with officers of the Utah Canners association as-sociation to discuss matters of relative rela-tive importance to both organizations. Following the meeting, the merchants mer-chants enjoyed a banquet at the Tavern Tav-ern cafe. |
