Show BLOWING UP OF OSSOWETZ GUNS After the Russians Had Decided De-cided to Abandon the Fortifications. Petrograd. Aug 25, via London. In accordance with orders, the garrison garri-son of Ossowetz joined tho Russian field army on August 22, evacuating the fortress after blowing up tho permanent per-manent fortifications, burning the wooden structures and removing or crippling the guns, thus ending a year of gallant defense of tho principal crossing of tho Bobr river.
