Show CHRISTMAS SERVICE AT TABERNACLE The annUal Christinas eommemora-tivp eommemora-tivp service of the Weber, North Weber We-ber and Ogden siakeB was held yesterday yes-terday afternoon In the Tabernacle. ; The service was conducted by Rider Thomas Francis W illiams of the Tabernacle Tab-ernacle service committee, A pleasing pleas-ing musical program was delightfully rendered by tho Ogden Tabernacle choir and soloists under the direction of Professor Joseph Ballantyne. the l umbers hemg as follows: Organ Prelude. .. Robert Rinnie and choir Organ Postlude Sam F. Whitaker The invocation was offered by President Pres-ident C. F. Mlddleton and the sermon was delivered by Apostle David O. McKay. Apostle McKay chose ns his subject. sub-ject. "The Spirit of Christmas" and brought out many deeply impressive thoughts through rpterence to the ancient an-cient scriptures, the poet Burns, the I literary genius Dickens and conditions condi-tions of life past and present Me j first read a portion of one of the Hosing chapters of Dickens' urea' novel.
