Show oo COTTON CODE IS TO BE DECIDED I Washington, Dec. 21 Ambassador Page today reported that the British government was making arrangements to aJlow the use of Meyer's Atlantic cotton code, thirty-ninth edition, in foreign telegrams and that a public announcement on the subject would be made as soon as the date of the admission of the code was settled. It will not he practicable, it was said, to allow the use at present of more than ne cotton code. The Meyer code ie the one which was iu nioBt general use in the cottou ;rade. fV |
