Show POOLSEN 10 SMITH 0001 OVEO TO DISTRICT COURT Grover Poulsen and Jack Smith were bound over to the district coir t this morning by Judge W. II Reedef Jr. after having waived thc-lr prelim inary examination on the charge of grand larceny. The two men were charged with having robbed the residence resi-dence of a Chinese gardener, en Twelfth street, about n tnpntb ago. I They were arrested at Richfield last week iiid brought to Ogden by Pel tlvn Tom Burk. It was alleged tim they contested to being guilty of the rlfei ro charged. Lr-rsnzo Duufcrd. C. A. Eakins and j H. Hilton each forfeited 'l bail, when they failed to appear in answer to thp charge of speeding motorcylcles. Martin Moran. an alleged drunk, forfeited $5 bail. George Armstrong and Walter Gregory were convicted of the charge of tre pass and fined $3 each They were arrested at Glenwood park yes terday by Patrolman Blackburn Pat O'Connor received a 5-day sentpnee. He was convicted of the charge of vagrancy. J. W. Durkin, who was charged with trespassing on the grounds of the Utah Construction company, re-Ceived re-Ceived a five-day suspended sentence. Thomas John, a 21-year-old youth, was given a severe lecture and allowed allow-ed his freedom, with a 180-day suspended sus-pended sentence hanging over his head. He was convicted of drunkenness drunken-ness and, on account of his youth, the judge deemed the moral punishment sufficient. |
