From Democratic national headquarters head-quarters in Washington, circulars are being sent to all parts of the coun try lu which an effort is made to prove that the business depression is psychological. There are reports from different cities on improvements under way and prospective, and among them is the following: Elyria, Ohio The Kleervue Film Co will open a $300,000 moving picture pic-ture plant here. Sullivan, Md Messrs. Ginter and Hoschler, of Center Point, Ind., will locate a canning plant in this city Canal Dover. Ohio An additional mill, making six In all, is being installed in-stalled at the plant of the Reeves Manufacturing Co. Lemont, 111. Contracts hae been let by the Aluminum Products Co. for the enlargement of their plant No. 2 here. Portland, Ore Two blocks in Block 1 of Southport addition have been sold by L. G. Wledewltsch to the North Star Iron Works for a factory Saginaw, Mich. Extension of the! Federal Rubber Manufacturing Co.'s factories of Cudahy, Wis just outside out-side Milwaukee was resumed mis week. Washington Me. Reynolds Tobacco Co. has completed plans for another new steel and concrete fireproof fire-proof building Moline, 111. Our Democratic friends evidently are not missing any sign of prosperity in this mighty nation. During ordinary ordi-nary times there would be no notice taken nationally of the building of a can factory, but in Democratic times the erecting of a factory of any kind anywhere is of sufficient importance to be proclaimed from the housetops. no |
