Jordan Jor-dan and Ogden have gone down before be-fore tbe heavy farmer aggregation. j Oranite has one more game. It will play the Butte high school in Butte i an Thanksgiving for the Intermoun- I Lain championship. u . The final game of the Granite Jor dan local schedule, although full of I thrills and hard-fcucht, was nothing Tor either team to be proud Probably oever before in the historj of inter-Bcholastic inter-Bcholastic football in this state or any other for that mutter, has there been bo much fumbling of kicks in I particular and poor handling of the ball in general. Not once during the game did the Granite backs handle cleanly one of I Boberg's punts Every one was drop ped and in many instances recovered i by the fast Jordan ends. Jordan was but little better in this department, and was far more unfortunate in Los i Ing the ball for two of the touchdowns gained by Granite followed on the heels of a fumble. There were no j less than fifteen punts fumbled, and j about half of them were recovered by an opponent And there was con siderable fumbling on line plunging. I Hamilton Stars Again. Granite showed that it Is a hard fighting machine, particularly strong on end runs and bucks off tackle. Jim i Hamilton ai;ain was the individual star and seme of his open field work i was the best that has been seen in j a high school game this season. He made all four touchdowns for Granite. Although Boberg, the Jordan ful!-hack ful!-hack and c?.pta!n, is credited with be- ' lng the backfield strength of the Sandy team he failed to show to any particular advantage Both Gardner at quarter and Greer at half carried their portion of the work in high-: class order, and are deserving of credit for the game showing of the Jordan team. However, Boberg demonstrated that he is in a class by himself on the sending end of the forward pass. Both of Jordan's touchdowns came via the I aerial route The first was made pos sible by a spectacular leap by Thompson Thomp-son as he flashed over the goal line. Jorgensen made the other when one of Boberg's forwards had first been touched by an opponent and then bounded into the arms of the other Sandy end. After getting the ball Jor gemien wormed his wry twenty yards across the line. The aerial attlM with an occasional fake and trick play, made up most of Jordan's ol sive strength. i The first was even, the play sniping snip-ing from one end of the field to the other. This performance W3S repeated for the last touchdown Hamilton mad" the lino on a 25-yard run on the first play after the recovery And that ended Granite. The third quarter was a repetition of the first with p!a slightly in )'avor of Jordan. Hamilton's ereven had several good chances to score, but either fumbied or lacked the punch. In the final period Jordan showed like a new team. The backs pierced the line, swept the ends and Id general gen-eral made Granite appear an Inferior eleven Recovering a fumble on the Granif 2U-yard line, Hobere sent a pass to Thompson as he was scam-paring scam-paring over the goal line. Boberg missed the goal. The ball shifted to the Jordan goal I line, bul was kicked out of danger. - An inter- opted forward pass gave j .
