Willie Ritchie 1 likeiy to pass from the lightweight division unless the limit Is boosted WiHie has turned down an offer to meet Johnny Dundee at Los Angeles for twenty rounds becauso he was asked to make 136 pounds at 1 o'clock tor B 3 o'clock bout Ritchie flatly refused. He said he would make W( Ighl tor no one but Freddie Welsh. This stand bars Ritchie from taking part in bouts with White and Dundee, who are certainly the leading con-tenders, con-tenders, Both are little men. White, taking the stand that his popular decision over Ritchie gives him the right to dictate, now holds out for 133 pounds. Ho wus forced to break his rule in making the match with Welsh.
