City Engineer Washington Jenkins reported that Twent v-fourth street. , between Washington and Grant ave nues, Is so badly damaged that it 13 necessary' to repave It. The engineer estimated the cost at $lft,40O.7ri This matter was referred to the committee commit-tee of the whole. Petitions for curb and gutter ana sidewalk on Hudson avenue, between Twentv-seond and Twenty-third streets, were referred to the super intendent of streets. The petition asking for curb and suttor on Twenty-ninth street, between be-tween Washington avenue and dams ivenua was referred to the supenn tendent of streets. |
