Show OGDEN ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION At a meeting held in tbe office of Manager Prank Berr of the Colonial dancing academy last night, the preliminary organization of the j OgdeD Athletic association was effected ef-fected with the election of the following fol-lowing well known nun as officers Or. George W. Green, president. Judge W. M. Reader Jr. and Charles 1 Cole, vice presidents; T. B Kelly, j secretary, and S. K ;reene treas-j treas-j urcr. Attorney George Halverson was appointed legal adviser and will I draw up articles of incorporation dur- ing the week According to the plans discussed, j the association proposes to lease the big dance hall for a number of yeara 'and to convert it into a modern gymnasium, gym-nasium, for tbe particular benefit of i business and professional men. al-! al-! though others will be admitted to J membership. The equipment will In ; elude a swimming pool, shower baths, j turkish baths and all kinds of up-to I date gymnasium apparatus. It Is also ! planned to secure the most competent compe-tent physical director that can be found, to act as chief instructor. The association will be capitalized at $5000 with shares to be sold at $10 each. |
