CONFISCATED BEER TURNED INTO SEWER Salt Lake Nov. 0 Several wagon-loads wagon-loads of beer wen- turned Into the city sewer pipes and nearly S5i0 worth of bar fixtures destroyed yesterday yes-terday bv Sheriff Andrew Smith, Jr., on the order of Judge F. C Loofbour-ow Loofbour-ow The goodB were taken from an alleged ' blind pig" In Murray several weeks ago. and were ordered confiscated confis-cated and destroyed. One bar alone, from the place of John Jurltcb, was valued at $300, at which cost It was installed shortly before the raid that resulted in its being transferred to the storeroom of the county jail. Other things consisted con-sisted of minor fixtures such as Ice chests, beer glasses, etc., together with a quantity of whisky and wine, In addition to the beer. The wagon-loads wagon-loads of beer taken from the places of Mrs lohp Yelich and Mrs Anna Mellcu of Austrian towu, near Garfield, Gar-field, were also destroyed Louis Korakas and J A. May of Snake town also near Garfield, were taken before Justice Reed on charges of selling liquor In dry territory and held for trial on $500 bonds
