Show II STRUCK By Til INSTANTLY KILLED Midvale. Nov 6 William J. Frank !in. aged 39, a driver employed by the j Page-Hanson company of Rlverton, I was instantly killed shortly after S 'o'clock this afternoon, when the wag-j wag-j on which he was driving was struck by Denver & Rio Grande passenger ' train No. 4, eastbound Franklin's I body was thrown more than fifty feet ; Into tho air, his skull wa crushed and he was dead when the few per sons who witnessed the accident reached his side The train was stopped long enough for an Informal investigation, which showed tho train crew blameless, in asniuch as lUwas agreed that the danger dan-ger signal hail been sounded at the crossing, which notice of warning Franklin had apparently disregarded, although there Is likelihood that the station house obscured his view as he approached the crossing from the j went. I The body was taken to the Midvale establishment of S M Taylor A Sons company, undertakers, where it will I remain pending arrangements for the funeral. Franklin, who leaves a widow and two children, residing in Riverton was a native of England and came to Utah only about two years ago. For the past eighteen months he was employed em-ployed by tho Page-Hanson company, and he was driving the .'Irm s wagon I when struck by the train.
