An encouraging en-couraging report of the progress that has been mado In the Utah conference confer-ence of Seventh-day Advcntists durtng the the past two years was given President W. M. Adams, of Salt Lake City, before the delegates attending the biennial convention of the Pacific Pa-cific Union Conference of that denomination de-nomination here In this city. pur tithes for the year 1912 was 52117.53. amounting to a fraction over $10.35 per capita. In 1913 it was $2709.07, nearly $12.78 per capita for every Sabbath-keeper. The total amount for the two years was $4S26.60. I "The returns through, the canvass- J ing work have been very gratifying. During the past two years from' one to five canvassers have been in tho field a part of the time. The sales for 1912 amounted to $2297.90, and in 1913 they reached $4177.70, an increase in-crease of ,$2179,80. The total for the two years was $G67:"j.60. "The sales of trade and educational books, also tracts for the two years was $399.99. Our churches and workers work-ers have also been working with our periodicals. The subscriptions and sales totaled $300.85, while the subscription sub-scription list for 1913 reached $329.35 and the sales $330.70, a total of the two of $GG0.05. The sales and subscriptions, sub-scriptions, for our books, papers and tracts for 1912 r.nd 1913 amounted to $S03G.I2." nn |
