Show TRAFFIC POOL TO 8ERENEWUI Representatives of All Trans-Atlantic Trans-Atlantic Shipping Companies Compan-ies Meet in Berlin. Berlin, March 16. Representatives of all the trans-Atlantic shipping companies com-panies arrived in Berlin today for a conference tomorrow to renew the traffic pool. Separate preliminary meetings of the British and continental continent-al lines were held today. Albert Malin, managing director or the Hamburg-American line, declared himself by no means confident that an agreement would be reached. He said it had been decided in principle at the earlier conferences that the Canadian line should enter the pool, but the far more difficult problem remained re-mained of settling the basis on which their participation in the trans-Atlantic traffic should be arranged. The troubles of the continental shipping ship-ping pool appear also to have broken out again. oo |
