Between 3500 and 4000 prosperous German citizens?, many of them merchants and manufacturers manu-facturers interested lu American meth ods. will tour this country in 1915 on a trip to the expositions on the coast An organization known aB the American Society Tours" in Berlin is making the arrangements, headed by E. Rudnick, who has written to the Commercial club about the plans. According to Mr. Rudnick. the tourists tour-ists will leave Berlin in parties of 200 about every ten days. The tour will cover a period of seven months during which the Germans will rlatt almost every point of note in the United Uni-ted States. Kach party is scheduled to stop two days in Salt Lake City. George C. Cowing, director oi I he Commercial club publicity bureau has written to the tour manager, asking that the length of the stay in Salt Lake be made greater, if possible, in order to afford the German tourists an opportunity to make a short trip around the state, visiting important industries and famous resorts r,n |
