Show I CITY REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES City Auditor A V ' Larson in Ins estimate of expenses of Ogdn City and the revenue necessarv to be raised for the current year, has submitted a statement to the city board of commissioners com-missioners which places the total es timated expenditures for 1914 at $311, 020 and the receipts at $252,150. For the past ear the expenditures were $275,035.39 and receipts $255. 245.19, leaving a deficit of approxl-matel approxl-matel $20,000. With $20,000 added to the estimated deficit of 169,000, the city will be nearly $80,000 behind at the end of the year Part of thi6 estimated total deficit includes increased expenditures of over $3,000 in the police department $10,000 in the fire department, $9,000 in the street department and $6,000 in the engineering department But these figures lake no account j or the waterworks, the revenue from I which is beginning to assume large i proportions. |
