Show 1 SOCIETY 1 LITERARY SOCIETY MEETING A pleasant and Interesting meeting of the Ladies' Literary society was held Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Joseph Scowcroft with Mrs. Virgil p. Cain as hostess. A decidedly intereting program on education was presided over by Mrs Douglas Watson. Mrs. R. B Porter gave a paper on "Statistics of Education Edu-cation and wa followed by Mrs. Arnold Bowman who gave a lucid reading on "Education in Utah." Mrs. Douglas Watson read her prepared paper on the subject, "What Do We Mean by Vocational Education" which was well received and called for considerable con-siderable discussion. Following a paper on "Education" by Mrs. Karry Bagloy. two excellent boIob were nicely rendered by MrB, Fred G. Clark who possesses an unusually un-usually sweet soprano voice Mrs. Cain served a daintily prepar-ed prepar-ed luncheon after which the club adjourned ad-journed to meet in two weeks with Mrs. Leroy Ecclea |
