M EMBERS LOCKED IN JAIL Provo, June 11 A special train from Tucker arrived here tonight and four men were taken from the cars and locked In the county Jail on charges of disturbing the peaco and Inciting labor trouble The men aro supposed to be I W VY leaders. All refused to give names. About 11 o'clock the fhe L W. W-agitators W-agitators who were brought here yesterday yes-terday from Tucker were arraigned before Justice of the Peace E L Jones. The men are charged with a misdemeanor and with the destruction of property belonging to he Utah Construction company. They all pleaded not guilty and will be given a preliminary hearing Tueada morn-J ing. Dunne the day the men havo created creat-ed considerable disturbance in the jail This morning at about 5 o'clock they began to shout and sln and woke up residents for several blocks around the building Sheriff East was In Tucker and tbe men were allowed to 6hout themselves hoarse. Tonight they started again and finally ceased when they had been arraigned. ' One of the men. J F. Morgan, who acted as a sort of leader, demanded his instant release He said that if he was not let out at once he would, as soon as he did get out. begin a suit for damages af?ainst tho county for false Imprisonment. He Is still In Jail. His four companions gave their names as B Raywon, L. Weaver, H. Rldgeway and A. J. Rice. |
