Thomas, a mail clerk, were injured seriously last niiit when cast bound passenger train No. 110 on the Union Pacific railway plunged into a snowdrift three miles west of Cheyenne and was derailed. Several passengers were Bllghllj hurt. The train, pulled by two loeomo-I loeomo-I fives, was going at high speed when the drift was struck. Roth engines left the rails John Larson and Thos. Niland, engineer and fireman ol the second locomotive, and W H Ingram and V. H. Jones, mail clerks, were i'jjured but not seriously. oo |
