Stllwell. charged by George II Kendall of the New York S Banknote company with obtaining L'50 and attempting to extort $3,500 more for pushing legislation favorable 1 to that company, took the stand In MH his own behalf before the senate judiciary ju-diciary committee today He told of his meetings with Keudall and said that Kendall had asked him to draft a bill Stllwell replied that he was M too busy and suggested th Kendall 4Jga employ Samuel Lewis.
