Show oo OGDEN AND ELY ARE TO BE BENEFITED The ability of the Weber club to aid the business men of the city has again been demonstrated by the receipt re-ceipt of a letter from T F Rowlands, superintendent of the Southern Pacific, Pa-cific, by Secretary I L Reynolds of the Weber club to tlie effect Unit the service between Ely, New. and Ogden and Ogden and Ely will be improved to meet the needs of the busines men of both places Ogden always has tried to be friendly with Ely and through that friendliness has received a great amount of Ely business. The service to the Nevada town since the new time table went into effect has not materially alfected travelers traveling travel-ing to Ely, but upon returning to Ogden, Og-den, the service and connections were not tho best. To reach Ely. It is necessary to make connections with the branch road at Cobre. The train for local points leaves here at C"40 a m , mountain time, and arrangements arrange-ments have been made to hae the Pacific Limited stop at Cobre. This part of the service was not deemed poor but in traveling from Ely to Ogden difficulties are encountered en-countered in making connections. But the letter from Mr. Rowlands gives assurance that the trouble will be remedies to meet the needs of Ely and Ogden people nn |
