COMMITTED SUICIDE shot himself through the head at the I 1 dinner hour omaha dec 23 J prank carpenter secretary of the carpenter paper company one of the largest paper houses in the west committed suicide at his home at 7 tonight by scooting snoot ing mr carpenter was 47 years old while the members of his family were at dinner he went to his room unnoticed A pistol shot took his wife to the room where she found mr carpenter lying on the bed with a bullet wound in his head he died as she reached the room nervous prostration which resulted in a complete breakdown is given as the cause of the suicide the affairs of his company were never in better condition it hag branch houses in kansas city des moines denver and portland and general agencies in many other western cities
