RIDDLED WITH BULLETS r negro found dangling from telegraph pole muskogee ohla dec 24 riddled with bullets the body of james garden a negro was dangling from a telegraph pole tonight in the center of henrietta oklahoma a coal mining town 30 miles southwest 0 here as the result of the first lunching lynching lyn ching in the new state garden at noon today shot ind killed albert bates a whiteman because bates who is a well known liveryman refused to rent a rig to the negro garden saad bates was discriminating against him because ot his color and gnang across the street tor a pistol garden returned and hilled bates garden was lodged in jail aal tonight a mob of a hundred men battered down the boora of the lail and in apte of the efforts of the secured garden and huner him to a nearby pole they then riddled iha body with bullets hul lets all the negroes in henrietta arc terrorized and more lhnn a bundled came from here to muskogee MuR kogee tonight there is a negro in the henrietta jail who it Is feared will be lynched before morning
