MOTION OVERRULED supreme court mildly reprimands ati torney general austin texas dec 23 the supreme court today overruled the roo afon of attorney general davedson Dav ldson for an order directing state receiver robert J echhardt to take charge of the property of the waters pierce oil company the court in its opinion reprimands the attorney general aej the state attorneys for what was taken as presumption shown in arguing the case that tho law would be violated or that either this court of the supreme court of the united states will reverse a judgment which canies conies to it with the presumption in bavor of its correctness I 1 the court says further it Is sufficient for us to say that this court hag not been entrusted with any such unlimited authority and cannot and will not exercise authority which has not been delegated to it by the people of this state
