and denver rio grande A new forty two inch plainer has arrived in the yards and will be installed in the local machine shops as soon as possible the plainer now in the shop is ot the same design but has gained wide circulation cu that the tons of OS pound elcel recently ordered by the pacific idaho northern road would bo used in extending the line to a point where it will connect with the northern pacific has been denied by superintendent erin E M heigho of that road it is a known fact that this road is a bone of contention between E H har riman and james J hill and owing to the fight for control is enjoined by the courts at the time from hold ing its annual meetings according to superintendent heigho the road has increased per cent in its earnings the past year and the population
