Show uu DINNER GIVEN INMATES OF TiEJASLS For the unfortunate men and women wom-en in the city and county prisons, special menus were prepared today and despite the fact that they aro prisoners, efforts wore made to cheer those who were compelled to remain In jail on Christmas. Mrs. Hagbert Anderson, wifo of the jailer at the city jail, supervised the preparation of the dinner which was served at 1 o'clock. The dinner consisted con-sisted of tho following Roast goose and loast chicken, mashed potatoes, celery, cranbecry sauce, pie, cake and coffee. Mrs. E. E. Harrison, wife of the sheriff,- arranged the following menu for the county prisoners: Roast chicken and roast beef, mashed mash-ed potatoes, mince pie, plum pudding pud-ding and coffee |
