It condemns the Re- H publican national committee at Chica- H go, severely criticises President Taft H and denounces what is alleged to bo H his subsorvieucy to tho special Inter- H ests, eulogizes Colonel Roosevelt as H "tlie foremost man of tho world" and H declares for his nomination and elec- mMM tion; urges presidential primaries, di- H rect election of United States sena- H tors, Indorses the initiative an ref- H erondum, and asks for physical valu- H atlon of railroads and a protec4t?e H tariff "suited to the foslerlnc cT la- BjaH bor in domestic manufactures, agrii H culture and other industries." W Tho first Roosevelt enthusiasma broke loose a few minutes after the K convention opened when a telegram H from Colonel Roosevelt, congratulating K Iowa Progressives was received.
