Show w DISAPPEARS FROM HER HOME Ogden. relatives of Mrs. A Jacques, of Layton, arc considerably worried over her strance disappearance from her homp, and MJss Parker, a sister of the missing woman, has appealed to Judge Volney C Gunnell of Ogden Og-den to investigate the case. Mrs. Jacques, who, it is alleged, recently re-cently left her home in Layton, Tas formerly a Miss Parker, and was at one time under the Jurisdiction of Judge .Gunnell. Several years ago there was living in this city a certain Parker family to which a series of misfortune came. The father was taken away by a spell of sickness, and the mother was committed to the Mental hospital at Provo. There wore several children in tho family, and they were more or less under the direction di-rection of the juvenile court judgo, j who gave considerable attention to their welfare. The eldest girl was later married, and in an effort to clear up the mystery surrounding her strange disappearance fiom her home at Layton, two of the younger Parker Par-ker girls, who reside in this city, callod upon Judge Gunnell today. Tho two sisters are under the impression that their married sister may have become despondent and committed some rash act. Judge Gunnell got in touch with Sheriff Harris of Davis county today, to-day, and a efffort will be made to find the missing woman. |
