Show AT LYCEUM. Harry Wilson and his musical comedy com-edy company presented "Tho Mikado" to a crowded house at the Lyceum theater, Tuesday night, and the audience au-dience was ery appieclativo The attempt to put on a comic opera In this city has met with success at the Lyceum, and It will probably be followed fol-lowed by others as good as the one that holds the boards this week. Among tho song hits "Deedle De Dura, Dum," as sung by Mr. Wilson, was easily the favorite, and "I'm Having Hav-ing Lots of rouble With My Smile." as sung by Celeste Brooks, took second sec-ond place Will Phillips did a great deal of vocal work throughout the bill, and Mr Wilson did a danco specialty spe-cialty worthy of note. Tho Lyceum theater bill this week offeis something good in the way of entertainment for the individual who enjoys light comedy and catchy music. mu-sic. There are a number of pretty women In the chorus and the cast, and the production Is well staged. |
