Show oo GRANT POWER PRIVELEGES Brigham City, March 15. At the meeting of the city council last evening even-ing soveral applications for power for pumping purposes were considered. Among thoso applying for power for this purpose were L. R. Hoist, Joseph Jo-seph H. Hansen, L. Peter Johnson nnd A. M. Reeder. Tho two last named petitioners wore hoard at a previous meeting and their requests H for power wero granted. The other H petitioners' applications Tero filed.' H Lawrence Jorgonsen, representing the Brooks orchestra, appeared and -H asked tho council to grant them a H lease on certain property In the city ffjfl park upon wwhich to erect a dane- H Ing pavilion. The application was H denied. MAV M. C. Stcenhouse was reappointed ftV city sexton at a salary of $25 per H month. Tho petition of Oliver F.
