Show FACTORY DEPENDS ON BIG PROJECT Provo, Fob. 1 1- A rumor has been going the rounds of BroVo that' Jesse Knight would go to Payson next week to complete the arrangements for building the much talked of sugar factory fac-tory at that point Mr. Knight was out of the city Saturday and on his return lost night, whon questioned, seemed surprised that there should be any talk concerning the matter at this time. To a reporter Mr. Knight said; "1 have not made any arrangements arrange-ments to go to Payson to meet with the Commercial cjib there on any certain date, but as soon as tho weather weath-er will permit I intend to go down there and look over the situation. There Is no prospect of the commencement commence-ment of the erection of a sugar factory fac-tory at PayBon," continued Mr. Knight, "until the completion of the Strawberry valley Irrigation project and'-the JandB are under cultivation and this would likely not be before 1914." It Is generally known in this sec. tlon that Mr. Knight' 'has considered the building of a factory at Payson, his old home, for several years In tho political talk bo made at a rallv In Provo four years ago, Mr. Knight stated that he Intended tp build n sugar factory In or near Payson, and. when tbo faotory was iu running order or-der sugar would bo sold at not to exceed ex-ceed $5 or $5.50, and the factory would nsy not less than $i5 a ton for beets. Since Mr Knight made that talk the question has been revived on an av-orage av-orage of once a year |
