In H th0 end Wing Woo suffered but little H by this arrest, but slnco that time has H been more cautious about the illegal H disposition of drugs. Tho police say H that recently tbo Chinaman has be- H como more bold and has sold cocaine H to a number of persons addicted to H the drug. W Young Miles and a companion, H whose nnmo Is being withheld for the H present by the offlcors, were known H to have secured cocaine from Bomn H place in tho city and the detectives H detailed to learn who was selling It H traced the drug to tho Chinese The Hl two young men were arrested, and H when accused of having purchased tbo H drug from Wing Woo, admitted that H ho had sold it to them. Ht Woo's room was searched and about Hf 570 worth of cocaine was found hid- H den under the bed. Opium was also H found in the room. Tho Cuinose was H placed under arrest and will probably H be kept under lock and key until hiB H trial in police court. He will be H charged with a misdemeanor and will H be prosecuted under the city ordi- B nances. Both the young men arc bo- H ing held under bond as witnesses.
