Show ELKS HAVE A PALATIAL SOME Now York, July S The now homo of the New York lodge No. 1, B. P. O. E.t is ready for occupancy of the members when they return from their convention at Atlantic City. This will be on July 17. The immense 14-story structure, which Is considered the most palatial pala-tial quarters of any lodge of the B. P. O. E., was informally thrown open for Inspection yesterdav. The building build-ing without the furnishings cost $1,-250,000. $1,-250,000. Tho principal feature of the new building is the lodge room. It Is larger than tho grnnd ball room of the Waldorf-Astoria, 'ine new homo has at the disposal of siting members 260 rooms with baths. There will he two roof gardens, each opening from the cafe, which extends the full width of the building The structure occupies a plot 100 feet square.
