00 UTAH IN ARE PLACEOJN JAIL NowTork. April 21. Claudo C. Fairbanks Fair-banks ot Salt Lako City and Eliaho. H. Boley of American Fork, two young Mormon missionaries, were arrested at York, Pa., yesterday tor distributing .Mormon literature on tho ntreots of , that city. After a summary trial, in which the defendants were given scarcely an opportunity lo defend themselves, Fall banks won lined $10 and Boley was dismissed. ' Both were directed by the mayor, who conducted tho trial as city magistrate, mag-istrate, to leave town immediately up on being released from Jail. Fairbanks Fair-banks paid his fine, but did not leave tho city. They have not as yot been re-arrested. Boley has been transferred to the mission office in New York. He succeeds suc-ceeds Vivian Snow of Salt Lnko, who has been themission stenographer for the last eight months. Mr. Snow left Wednesday for Boston, where he will resume active missionary work. 00
