The caso has aeen shifted along tho calendar cal-endar for some tlmo past and at tho time of sotting cases for the Juno term It was quite completely oxer-looked. oxer-looked. This being noticed, howovor, after the calendar had been gono over and tho entire month of Juno set apart for the hearing of other matters, the court stated that the caso should havo precedence over all other cases on tho first day that the court should not ibe occupied with other cases Next Friday Is the day .cot, Mrs. Coop is spending her time at Tho Hermitage and will remnln thero until after the trial. She states thnt sho will fight Mr. Coop's petition for divorce to the last ditch, because she Is not guilty of desertion, as ho alleges, al-leges, The lady Is asking for separate maintenance, on the grounds that Mr. Coop has failed to provide for her At this time Mrs. Coop Is lielng paid $100 a month for her support, as temporary alimony, by order of the court. MIsb Janet Coop, Mre Coop's nleco, has boon the cause of considerable dissension, Mrs Coop claiming that Miss Cook la Mr. Cook's affinity. The parties a few months ago mot at tho pier of a New York dock and created somewhat of a scene, sufficient to fill some of tho eastern papers with a rathor sensational story It appears that Mrs Coop learned of an arrangement arrange-ment between Mr. Coop and Miss Cook toy which llmv were to meet In Now York, Miss -Cook to come from England and Mr Coop from Utnh, and that Mr. Coop, .15 guardian of tho girl, was to accompany her to Chicago where she was to attend college. (Mrs. Coop Intercepted tho couple and mado things so uncomfortable that Miss Cook was detained by IiumN gratlon officers for a few days. The matter was finally settled, however, and the young lady was accompanied by Mr Coop to Chicago, he nfterwards returning to Utah. This all happened after Mr Coop had flle'd a potltlon for divorce.
