Show DUMP HOUSEHOLD GOODSJPI RIVER Through na investigation which was made by tho police to discover if possible possi-ble somo cine to the Identity of persons per-sons believed to havo Btolen a quantity of household goods from tho homo of Mrs. M. Breirn. 1909 Odell avenue, it was found that the articles supposed to have been stolen had been dumped into the Ogdon rivor at a point not far from the brewery and only a few yards from the Brelm home. For pure maliciousness there is nothing noth-ing on local police records which will parallel this act, Mrs. Brelm bad the goods, consisting of a table, bedstead, chairs, box of tools and other articles, stored in a small shed at the rear of her residence. Thursday she discovered discov-ered that the shed had been broken into and tho contents, fully a wagon load, had disappeared She- Informed the police, supposing of course thnt the articles had been 6tolen. Detective George Wardlaw made an Investigation yesterday, and while searching tho premises for somo clue which might assist him in tracing tho robbers, found some of the heavier articles in the shallow water at the bank of the river. A-further invoBtl gallon resulted in the finding of nearly all tho goods at points along the bank. Mrs. Brelm was unable to give the officer any information as to who might be guilty of the act. |
