Show WEBER ACADEMY ALUlMldl The annual reunion of the Weber Academy Alumni association was held at The Hermitage last ovcnlng with, about one hundred guests present, among them being some of the earliest earli-est graduates of the institution. Tho reunion consisted of a banquet, business busi-ness meeting and dance. The largo dining room of the canyon can-yon hotel presented a bea.utiful sceno with the tables tastily decorated with peonies and roses. The flowers had been presented by John Wilson, father of three members of the Weber association asso-ciation The banquet was served by Mr Dunkerly, who is in charge of The Hermitage cafe this season. Among those w'ho responded to toasts wero D. O. McKay, prosident of tho academy board, Loroy E. Ccwles, Alumni president last year; Ernest McKay, president of the senior se-nior class of '11; Lila Eccles, Minnie Drown, William McKay, Lawrence Richards and President C F. Middle-ton, Middle-ton, the latter having been a member of the board since the academy was built. At the business meeting of the association as-sociation officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: President William McKay. First vico president Lawrence Richards. Second vice president Lila Eccles. Secretary Leona Engstrom. Treasurer Stewart Eccles. Following the business meeting there was a very pleasant dancing party. oo |
