Show ASSURANCE OF GOOD CROPS. The storm of the past twelve hours is welcomed by city and country. The snow flakes, as a substitute for dust, are preferred in town, and in the country the farmers are rejoicing that each hour of storm adds materially to the storage. of moisture in the deep canyons of the Wasatch range from which must come the water supply for the crops of next summer. Those who lately have traveled to the sources of water supply report a greater depth of snow at this time than a year ago and the outlook now is that, during the coming season, there will be an ample supply of water for irrigation purposes, thus assuring good crops. |
