Show JAPS BOUGHT STOLEN GOODS ' The case of Gcorgo Morroyes and Frank Okuniura, proprietors of the Eagle cafe, who are charged with having hav-ing recehed stolen property, was open-od open-od in the police court this morning, but at tho noon hour was continued until Monday. According to tho complaint, the two Japs purchased flour fiom Frank Peterson, R C. Whito and Joe Eastman, East-man, tho threo hoys now held in the county jail. on a chargo of burglary in tho second degree. At the time of arrest, the young mon mado a full confession of their crlihe and stated that the stolen goods had been purchased pur-chased by the two Japanese. Tho boys were brought from th county jail as witnosses for the state and Poterson was placed on tho stand He ' told of having assisted in the stealing of the flour from the store Of A C Farrell and of the disposal of it at the Japanese restaurant. Ho stated that tho boys wero certain thoy could sell tho flour to tho Japs beforo. thoy had stolen It. "Tho Jap told me to wait outsido while tho other boys took tho goods Into the restaurant," Peterson testified. tes-tified. "Ho said that if any officer should come along I could give a signal sig-nal and tho two boys could go right through the cafo and out tho front door So I stood guard at tho back door whllo the two boys carried the goods into the store and got the money mon-ey for It," "Did tho Jap tell you this when you were delivering" to him tho flour?" asked the county attorney "No, ho told me this when we were bringing him chickens," was tho unexpected un-expected reply.
