Show EXCURSION RAMS . ON RAILROADS Chicago, Feb. 3. Passenger officials offi-cials of western railroads at the meeting meet-ing of the Transcontinental Passenger association are expected to decide on passenger excursion rates to the Pacific Pa-cific coast and other western points for the coming summer. American roads have discontinued making any reduced rates for special convention within two-cent fare states but this does not apply to transcontinental transcon-tinental fares. In addition to summer tourist fares, rates will be determined upon today for different conventions. 1 The principal prin-cipal summer conventions of the Pacific Pa-cific coast for which low rates are to be made arc the National Educational association, the American Sunday School association, and the Eagles, all I at San Francisco, 'and the American Medical association at Los Angeles. For the National Education association associa-tion it is likely a rate of $G2.50 for the round trip would be made, which is equal to the one fare. It has been decided to make low colonist rates for the thirty days from March 10 to April 10. Tickets will be sold daily on the basis of $33 from Chicago, $32 from St. Louis and $25 from the cities on the Missouri river, for one way fares, good on all tho fast trains |
