Bower was drunk at tho tlmo of his arrest John Clark, who also ate a meal at the same restaurant without having the means to pay his bill, pleaded not guilty to tho charge of drunkenness. He contended that he bad entered the eating house upon invitation of Bowor and that he did not know that his hoat was "hroko " Clark's case was continued con-tinued until Wednesday. B. R.
