One of the pretty, charming events of tho past week was the party at the Browning homo Friday aftornoon, whon twelve young ladles entertained by Miss Dorothy Browning In compliment compli-ment to aiiss Beatrice Boyle, ono of tho Juno brides-to-be. Tho roomr. were effectively decorated decorat-ed with heartH and roses, and following follow-ing the homstitchlngg and embroidery embroid-ery of fino linen pieces, which were the offorlng to the honor guest, delicious de-licious refreshments were served. Songs and instrumental selections, together with merry forecasts of the future, were enjoyanlo features that enlivened tho occasion, t BOYS TO ENTERTAIN. The C. O. C. boys of tho Baptist chnrch will entertain on the church lawn thin evening until 10 o'clock. The boys are arranging "baskets and vases of beautiful roses and other decorations and the skill and efficiency effi-ciency ot these earnest young workers has not been outshone by their more practiced competitors, the girls. A good time has been arranged and will be carried Into efroct in excellent excel-lent manner if no dark Bhowers come up to spoil their plans. A cordial invitation i3 extended to old and young. LADIES' AID. The Methodist Ladies' Aid society held their regular social and their annual election ot offlcors last Friday Fri-day afternoon. The officers elected to serve for tho ensuing year were: President, Mrs. S. H. Frey; vice president, Mrs. M. J. Marks; secretary, Mrs. J. W. Eg-glestou; Eg-glestou; treasurer, Mrs. C. E. Johnson. John-son. KENSINGTON. The Baptist Ladles' Kensington will be held at tne home of Mrs. E. A. Dunsmorc, 2440 B avenue, West Ogden, Og-den, tomorrow arternoon. Tho ladles are requested to meet at tho church parlors at 2:15 o'clock, all going in a body if it can bo conveniently conven-iently managed. A cordial Invitation to all is extended. extend-ed. J. J.
